16 November Planning and Environment Meeting on the Convent

The City of Ottawa’s Planning and Environment Committee will be re-considering the application from Ashcroft Homes to redevelop the Convent site at 114 Richmond Road this coming Tuesday, 16 November.  This PEC meeting will consider the results of the Section 37 negotiations first proposed at the 28 September meeting of the PEC.

All residents are encouraged to attend this meeting and voice their views on the development.  We had a fantastic turnout at the 28 September meeting, and we will need to see this again in order to ensure the development reflects the views of the community as accurately as possible.

Details of the PEC meeting are as follows (click here to visit the webpage on the City’s website for more details):

When: Tuesday 16 November, 9:30am

Where: Champlain Room, City Hall (110 Laurier Ave W)

As with the 28 September meeting, please contact the committee clerk Caitlin Salter-MacDonald to register to speak.  The Section 37 report by the City’s Tim Marc can be found here.  The original City staff report presented at the 28 September PEC meeting can be found here.

Thanks, and we hope to see you there.
